FREE WEIGHTS

Our free weight area is the heart of the gym: a full dumbbell rack from light to heavy, multiple Olympic barbells, bumper and iron plates, benches and chalk. Free weights force stabilizer muscles to fire, which builds real-world strength faster than machines alone.

Why it matters

The benefits

Builds functional strength

Free weights recruit stabilizers and core on every rep, translating directly to athletic and everyday movement.

Greater muscle activation

Studies consistently show compound barbell and dumbbell lifts produce higher EMG activity than fixed machines.

Unilateral balance

Dumbbells expose and correct side-to-side imbalances that machines can mask.

Scales with you

From your first 5 lb press to a 100 lb bench, the same rack grows with your training for life.
